Why Wonder?
When experiencing a moment of wonder, we are fully present (a rare occurrence in our overly distracted lives) and we often feel awe as we witness something bigger than us (think: seeing the night sky full of stars). These experiences make us feel human, and open us up to connect with each other.
Why Connection?
Human connection is one of our most fundamental psychological needs - it is vital to our existence. The pandemic has depleted us of connection so intensely, and it’s urgent that we find ways to reconnect so that we can rebuild, flourish and thrive as individuals and as communities.
Why Play?
Because it’s fun obv!!!!
Plus as a bonus, play - especially when rooted in justice - is a powerful tool for vitality, connection and growth. It is a vehicle for pleasure & joy while also giving us opportunities to learn and evolve, and heal.
